Comment: the arno separates the busier, more touristy area from this quieter, more residential neighborhood. the brick wall to the right marks the banks of the arno and those buildings on the right are on the other side of it. of course we tourists do go trapising through the neighborhood in search of non-touristy things ('authentic florence') and on our way to piazza michelangelo
