weirded out.

So J came over last night for a movie and actually went out of his way to do something for me. He brought the stuff to fix my cable/internet issues so I can once again be online and have the TV on at the same time. Without me asking. Actually with me attempting to discourage it (ok ... it was a weak attempt, but it was still an attempt). Odd. And his profile is still offmatch.com. I think he just likes to give me things to overanalyze. :p

Oh and he prefers oatmeal chocolate chip cookies of course. I made oatmeal cookies last night ... would have made oatmeal chocolate chip because those are *my* favorite - of course - but didn't have any chocolate chips. Even more odd is that I had recently had a conversation with a couple of friends about loving oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and everyone thought I was weird
because it's supposed to be oatmeal raisin and they hadn't heard of oatmeal chocolate chip. So he brings it up while eating the cookies - 'have you ever had them with chocolate chips?' - and I just had to laugh.

can someone please explain boys to me? i'm really liking the situation with ralph ... it's not everything i want, but it covers a lot of what i need and it's drama free (more-or-less). but J ... meets me and is 'off match' (confirmed) ... we start this once a month date thing and he's on match (i noticed ... he never mentioned it) ... so i'm getting used to this pattern and not taking him seriously in any way, shape or form ... and now i see he's off match again. argh on the overanalyzing!!!! and then the boy who has never met rj - heck, always has excuses as to why he can't see me when i have rj! - asks why i didn't invite him up to NH for the weekend when i needed some adult conversation. 1) why would i introduce a booty call to my child and have him spend time with my child on vacation? 2) he doesn't have kids ... he doesn't know what it's like to spend that much time with a chatty 4 year old! 3) he's been bitching about the roadtrips for work 4) what was he going to do with lucas? and of course all of this comes on the heels of boys hitting spring fever ... more boys want to take me to dinner than i know what to do with. ok, so R is out of the picture - i'm so bored with that back and forth. but now there's M who seems pretty sweet ... plus a whole bunch others right now. it's got to be something to do with the season.
