the pollyanna chronicals: family vacation

we've been up in the white mountains for almost a week now enjoying the snow conditions at loon. it's been a wonderful family vacation week! the crowds are minimal; rj spent three days in snowboard camp and is now a better snowboarder than me (he can link his turns ... i'm still working on doing that without ending up with my face in the snow!); we've played tons of board games and snuggled lots to watch movies; and basically just relaxed a lot as a family. i haven't thought about work (much) and haven't gotten much productive done (i don't think knitting counts!). although we've had a great time, i'm just about ready to go back home and see our pups and get back to a little more structure and routine. it's been a great vacation!
